In stores and restaurants you can pay with regular international credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard, but be aware that in most of the bars it is only possible to pay with cash. There is many ATM’s where you can withdraw money using international credit cards.
In many places they also do accept Euros, but this is not recommended due to a poor exchange rate.


Croatian. English and German can also be used in most places.


In business related meetings a formal suit is required.
